Cava is made extensively in Catalonia in northeast Spain in the same method as Champagne, Cava takes the stage as Spain's sparkling wine jewel, based on three local grapes: Macabeo, Xarello-lo and Parellada.

The sweet spot for Spanish Bubbly is excellent Cava sold at a reasonable price, the following set of cava can compete with small growers champagne and NV Champagnes released from most famous houses and they all sell for half the price of the french star
