Each issue we will be taking you on a gastronomic journey along the coast stopping on the way at our top picks for each culinary style or dish.
This month we decided to sample the best of the coast’s set menus, whether you’re looking for a great value Menu del Día or something a little more decadent, these options will be sure to have you booking a table in no time.
BREATHE™
In Brief… Breathe’s Menu del Dia offers an abundance of choice, enjoy three delectable courses every lunch time in their stunning setting.
Our Choice… It has to be the Spicy Tuna Tartare or the Angus & Prawn Dim Sum to start; the latter includes Spanish Angus top rib cooked for 48 hours combined with red prawns and local vegetables and served with teriyaki and truffle cream. For main course the Moroccan-style Pulled Lamb takes centre stage or as a vegetarian option we recommend the Roasted Miso Aubergine with pomegranate, pak choi, edamame, red onion and crunchy quinoa. Chocolate fondant, a cheese board and Mango Pudding all make an appearance on the dessert menu.

LA SALA
In Brief… La Sala offer two courses for a great value price with some desirable additional benefits. From Monday – Friday between 1pm – 4.30pm, Ladies can enjoy free-flowing cava for 6€ or champagne for 15€. Plus add a dessert or an extra side dish from 5.95€.
Our Choice… Chicken Yakitori or the Beetroot Cured Salmon are both delicious options to start, or if you want to splash out, for a 4€ supplement you can opt for their famous Pil Pil Prawns with fresh chilli, garlic, smoked paprika, parsley and white wine. For main course you can’t go wrong with the Chargrilled Minute Steak or Fillet of Sea-bass served with Tapenade and Sautéed Vegetables.

CASCADA MARBELLA
In Brief… Enjoy a starter and main course or a main course and dessert including a coffee from Wednesday to Friday from 1pm to 6pm.
About… Cascada focuses on cuisine inspired by distinctive ingredients and techniques gathered from the various regions of Spain. Their motto in the kitchen is ‘simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.’ Everything is homemade and prepared in limited quantities with freshness and quality paramount.

TIKITANO BY BESAYA
In Brief… Tikitano’s daily menu is back, served from Monday to Friday it includes a starter, main course, dessert and drink.
Where…Tikitano is located in the Llanos de Guadalmansa Urbanization. The menu boasts an interpretation of the typical Mediterranean gastronomy with a touch of ‘Nouvelle Cuisine’. Opt to dine in their restaurant, gardens or on the al fresco terrace. Eating at Tikitano is renowned as an experience of the senses; smells, colours, textures and flavours are infused into each dish to create the perfect blend.
