Bikini Body Operation
You probably haven’t even thought about the summer yet. I know, it seems like a long way away. We are still in winter - if you can call it winter over here!
Anyway, there are still a few months before it’s time to start thinking about bikinis. Wait a moment, BIKINI? Am I ready? Many women fill with fear when they even hear the word bikini, but it doesn’t need to be scary!
A couple of months before the summer season begins you will notice you start to see perfect bikini bodies everywhere! Street posters, magazine covers, gym announcements, shop windows... everywhere!
Remember the world is not perfect, we don’t need to be perfect. But wanting to be proud and show off the body you worked hard for months to achieve, that is also ok! So if you have always dreaded the thought of bikini time but deep down you would love to walk proudly along the beach showing off your hard work, then this year you can make it happen.
If you think it is still early and that you have plenty of time before the summer season starts, unfortunately you are wrong. This is the best time to start your bikini body operation. It is almost impossible, and very unhealthy, to achieve any visible results in one month, so don’t think twice and start today!
So, where do I begin? First of all, go through all your kitchen cupboards and throw away any naughty food and snacks. No point in tempting yourself! If it’s not there, you won’t eat it. Eating clean is a must if you want to get results. Forget about any sweetened drinks and keep alcohol to a minimum. Avoid fried and any processed food. Make your diet full of veggies and protein and… get your body moving! Choose an activity you like and that suits your daily routine - the place you live, your working hours etc. Ideally you should do something 6 days a week. So combine 3 (or more) fitness workouts (at the gym or at home) with fast walking, running or riding a bike through the rest of the week. Make sure you keep your body moving as much as possible so your metabolism works properly and so you burn the calories you intake throughout the day. It is very simple: you gain weight by storing fat if you intake more calories than you are able to burn. Worth keeping in mind your body is made 70% in the kitchen and 30% in the gym, so no matter how hard you train if you are still eating sweets and treats you will struggle to see results.
Wondering what exercises you should focus on to shape your bikini body? Well, you shouldn’t skip any part, you want to train all your body so every part is toned. But there is always some trouble areas that you may need to work harder on. Maybe it’s your belly, your buttocks or your thighs. There are a huge variety of ab exercises and nowadays it is easy to find new ideas on the internet. Or if you go to the gym, simply ask a trainer to give you some inspiration. Also remember that lifting heavy weights WON’T make you look bulky, as most of women think. But it will help you reach your goals sooner.
What you need is a MOTIVATION. Believe me, it will pay off. Just stick to a healthy routine from today and you will be surprised at the transformation your body takes over the next three months, leaving you to show off your hard work this summer at the beach and leaving you feeling physically and mentally strong!
