Say Cheese!

Dental surgeon Soheil S Mark is a co-founder of Aaura Dental (formerly Mark Dental Clinic). Together with his brother Sam Mark, also a dental surgeon, they run several well-established and trusted practices on Costa del Sol and in Stockholm. Soheil’s dedication to studies, purposeful decisions, and commitment from a young age have positioned him as a highly skilled and successful dental physician, all at the age of 39. He is greatly appreciated by his patients, not only for the excellent work he does, but also for his calm and compassionate character. 

Professional career

 He graduated from dental school in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2008 and decided to move to Spain from there, as he had some past connections to Fuengirola and Marbella. While running private practices with his brother, he developed a special interest in the field of oral surgery and dental implants. His postgraduate path took him through Barcelona, California, and Seville, and ultimately he finished his Master of Science program in Oral Surgery and Implants at the University of Manchester. His ample qualifications and extensive experience in the field make him both comfortable and highly competent in complex case management.

Vision and approach

 His vision in providing care to all his patients, regardless of the scale of the problem they present, is to first establish trust. Many of the negative feelings often associated with dentistry, such as nervousness and fear, subside if patients feel trust with their physician. Soheil’s humble and honest approach, together with his surgical abilities, is why patients return to him and keep recommending him.

 Future mission

 With offices in Fuengirola, Estepona, Nueva Andalucia (two locations), and in Stockholm, patient management and clinical administration consume most of his time. He is, however, working on a charity project, inspired by his nine-year-old nephew, called Dental Titans. The upcoming first mission will be in summer 2024, in which they will visit Uganda to carry out dental work, share knowledge, and educate and assist in universities and schools—something he has accomplished before, both in Peru and Cabo Verde.
